Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information Sport Margin collects, why it is used, and the choices available to organizers using the service.
This is a product-specific draft intended for review before paid launch. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed for the jurisdictions in which Sport Margin operates.
1. Information you provide
Sport Margin may collect account information such as your email address and authentication details. You may also enter event records, organizer and client details, revenue, expenses, mileage, invoices, notes, receipts, statement files, logos, and other information needed to operate your events.
2. Information collected automatically
The service may receive basic technical information needed to secure, operate, and troubleshoot the app, such as browser type, device information, approximate location inferred from network information, timestamps, and error logs. The app may use browser storage for preferences such as display settings.
3. How information is used
- To provide event finance, reporting, invoicing, mileage, import, and export features.
- To authenticate users and protect accounts and stored records.
- To respond to support requests and communicate service notices.
- To monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
- To meet legal, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution obligations.
4. Service providers
Sport Margin uses Firebase services for hosting, authentication, database storage, and file storage. If you enable address or mileage features, the app may send relevant address information to Google Maps services. Information may be processed in countries where Sport Margin or its service providers operate.
5. Financial and uploaded records
Event and financial records are provided by you. Do not upload information you are not authorized to use. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and reviewing exports for accuracy. We do not sell your event records or use them for advertising.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account history, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of information, subject to legal and operational limits. A production support contact and formal deletion workflow should be published before paid launch.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. See our Security page for more information.
8. Children
Sport Margin is intended for adult event organizers and is not directed to children. Do not create an account or upload personal information about a child unless you have the authority to do so.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
10. Contact
For privacy questions, use the support channel associated with your Sport Margin account. A dedicated privacy contact should be added before the public paid launch.
