Service terms
Terms of Use
These terms describe the basic rules for using Sport Margin to organize, record, and review sports event finances.
This is a product-specific draft intended for review before paid launch. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed for the jurisdictions in which Sport Margin operates.
1. Using Sport Margin
You may use Sport Margin only for lawful business and event-organization purposes. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and keep your account activity secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
2. Your records and content
You retain ownership of the information and files you enter or upload. You grant Sport Margin the limited permission needed to host, process, display, back up, and export that content to provide the service. You must have the rights and permissions required for any information you upload.
3. Prohibited use
- Do not use the service to break the law, infringe rights, or deceive others.
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, probe security controls, or interfere with service availability.
- Do not upload malicious code or information that you are not authorized to process.
- Do not use automated access in a way that creates unreasonable load or circumvents product limits.
4. Financial and tax information
Sport Margin provides organization, calculation, and reporting tools. It does not provide accounting, tax, legal, investment, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing calculations, classifications, invoices, tax treatment, filings, and reports with an appropriately qualified professional.
5. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, integrations, or parts of the service. We will use reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. You should maintain independent backups of important records.
6. Paid plans
If paid plans become available, the applicable price, billing interval, renewal, cancellation, refund, taxes, and usage limits will be shown before purchase. Those purchase terms will form part of your agreement with Sport Margin.
7. Third-party services
Sport Margin may rely on services such as Firebase and Google Maps. Third-party services may have their own terms, availability limits, and privacy practices. We are not responsible for independent third-party service failures or policies.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate abuse, comply with law, or address a material breach. You may stop using the service at any time. Any retention or deletion of records will be handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable obligations.
9. Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that it will meet every requirement or that every calculation will be error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Sport Margin will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service. These limitations do not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Contact and governing terms
Questions about these terms should be directed through the support channel associated with your account. Before paid launch, Sport Margin should publish its legal entity, business address, support contact, and governing-law provisions.
